YouTube Yoga guru Adriene Mishler has a channel that I have absolutely fallen in love with. For those of us who want to practice yoga in our home because it is more convenient, free, or whatever reason, this girl is the one to follow. She takes a light approach to the practice and is so encouraging to all levels that you want to make time for yoga everyday. She posts a new video every Wednesday and has 2 yoga series that are free: 30 Days of Yoga and Yoga Camp.
A goal for this year was to be more consistent with fitness and I have struggled with that goal. However, I am challenging myself to her 30 days of Yoga practice. I have practiced her routines on and off and definitely feel a difference when I do practice. I want to be more consistent and see where yoga can take me. Some do yoga for weight loss, others for flexibility, and others for the mind-body connection it can bring. Honestly, I want to achieve all those things and more.
So I invite you to join me on these 30 days and see how you feel at the end. I hope we can encourage and support each other to achieve whatever each of us hopes to gain. I will be posting weekly updates as I go through the series and talk about my experience and journey with this yoga practice.
